From a fly fishing experience standpoint, it is difficult to imagine a better experience than what exists at Patagonia River Ranch and nearby waterways, and we have a strong desire to preserve the experience at the highest possible level by limiting the number of bookings for each fishing season.
The magnificent Chimehuin River, which runs through the Ranch, is widely considered the finest trout stream for large fish in all of Patagonia. Our prime location allows our guests to float and wade-fish the river from the nearest access point upstream, then step off the boat at the end of the day 100 yards from your room (or to start at the Ranch for the lower river section). You will have the opportunity to fish up to 6 different rivers during your stay, including the Chimehuin, Caleufu, Collon Cura, Alumine, Malleo, Quemquemtreu and the Quilquihue.
