Go fishing where few have fished before…
Announcing Patagonia River Ranch’s new sister fishing ranch, Estancia La Limay.
The Rio Limay Medio is one of northern Patagonia’s most remarkable trout streams, particularly for large fish. And our unique location on this tailwater fishery offers our guests access to water very difficult to reach by other anglers, outfitters and guides.
- Fish for trophy-sized German Browns and Rainbows (resident & migratory)
- 16,000-acre ranch with private river access
- Maximum 4 boats/4 guides available each day
- Amazing water variety – fast runs, riffles, drop offs, islands & tail-outs
- Over 100 miles of interconnecting channels in this section
Estancia La Limay is Patagonia River Ranch’s new “sister” fishing lodge, located 1.5 hours from Neuquen City and 3 hours from San Martin de los Andes. We’re in our second season of operation.
Our 16,000-acre ranch has private river access on the only tailwater fishery in the area. This section of the Limay features cool, stable releases, creating ideal habitat for a large and healthy fish population. Both resident and migratory German Browns and rainbows are found in these waters throughout the season — with the migratory trout moving through the vast array of channels inside our ranch… 30-inch trout are NOT uncommon!
The exclusive guest lodge has been fully remodeled in the past year, with 4 well-appointed guest bedrooms (each with private bath) for up to 8 guests at a time.
Our 100% native Argentine staff are all personable and well-spoken in English.
Our guest season begins November 12, 2017 and ends April 29, 2018.
Please call to discuss this exciting new destination. Kim and Melanie can answer any questions about the fishing, accommodations, or travel arrangements.
The Limay River is where our guides head to fish on their days off. We’re excited to offer this one-of-a-kind experience to our guests.
